Visitor: prof. Daniel Lundin from Linkoping University

Professor Daniel Lundin accepted our invitation to Brno, and he presented three lectures about the principles of High Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering (HiPIMS) in the middle of November. Daniel Lundin spent the last four years as a Senior Researcher CNRS at the Université Paris-Sud, and currently, he works as a professor at Linkoping University. His research is mainly focused on plasma diagnostics and modeling of high power impulse magnetron sputtering (HiPIMS).

Lecture:

  • A unified treatment of self-sputtering, process gas recycling and runaway in magnetron discharges
  • How to quantify the degree of ionization in High-Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering
  • Introduction to High-Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering
